Thaksin and PT can't continue to choose "which" laws they choose to follow or respect. They are the leaders (supposedly) of this country (at the moment) and should be setting an example by following, upholding and maintaining ALL laws, not just those that suit themselves. Courts have been petitioned - over 20,000 signatures to disband the EC. bout time they were on the back foot and they will be with this as it was lodged with the senate quite obvious to any that they made no effort to get the election on, played poodle to Sutheps backers and now are meddling in press censorship whilst trying to put off election. Of course it is improper to drag the EC in on state media on the question of the rice scandal. The EC - in its constitutional role - is to ensure that election laws are not broken. Funding the rice scheme as a caretaker administration is a violation of election law. A myriad of articles in the constitution forbid it. It's not rocket science. The administration should not use state media to launch an attack against the EC. Yingluck's address was also another infraction. Which is pointless because your Democrat guy refuses to run, and Suthep refuses to stop protesting. It's clear from the turnout and the Constitutional court ruling that the election was valid, so you need to do your job and stop trying to block the remaining election re-runs in the problem districts. When it can't figure out what is role and responsibilities are, doesn't know how the Constitution affects its role, and doesn't understand constitutional rights, I don't know how its members can even face a mirror without running under their bed to hide.
