us citizens first visa run

Featured Replies

I entered the country with a 30 day visa. It expires on 26 February. I plan to do a run to Malaysia by land and return the same day. Has anyone done this?..will I get another 30 days? I heard I may only get 15. Help please.

What you have is a 30 day visa exempt entry.

Since you are from the US (G7 country rule) you will get another 30 day visa exempt entry instead of 15 days.

As said you will get 30 days

I also hae a visa run question--

I've been here a few years on a ED visa extension. I need help-- if I go around the border near Kachanaburi and do a visa run-- how many days will I get? Also, I'm a US citizen. Sorry this is my first visa run and I'm kind of confused :/
