PM Yingluck flies to Isaan

From a tweet in the Thailand Live thread.

Suthep: Im warning u Miss Flower. Kingdom is always protected by sacred things. And things will happen to those with bad intentions to nation.

Gotta love the way he addresses them as Ee Tok (Miss Flower), Ai Khakhi Thaksin (slave of Thaksin - Chalerm) and Ai Hua Larn (Baldy - Surapong).

The "Miss Flower" translation a rather polite because, while it is not totally incorrect, there is also a double entendre with the Tok Thong (golden flower) which is slang for a hooker, usually a young and pretty one.

Drought= No Water= No Rice for all those Suthep supporters/followers/disciplies in Bangkok. What a shame that would be ;-)

If you must comment at least try to make some sense. It is not even clever sarcasm which as we all know is the lowest form of wit.

Just a political figure? Sorry but I don't buy that.

She accepted the position of puppet / fake PM, she knew from the start that it was a fake role, she knew from thee start the rice scam was nothing more than a very massive highly corrupt scam and we now see the results, hundreds of billions of baht unaccounted for, and even more massive losses to come before we get to the end of this scam.

Hundreds of billions of baht stolen from the common wealth of all Thais.

She willingly took part is an unscrupulous and immoral activity to try to ram an amnesty through parliament at 3.00am in the morning whilst the good Thai people were sleeping.

An utter disgrace. PMs etc., should be leadership examples, she, and her ilk, are the example of everything that is inappropriate for leaders to do and say.

Just a political figure? Sorry but I don't buy it.

I'd say that sums it up.

Negativity upon negativity heaped on the Prime Minister......But with such a huge disconnect....All those repetitive insinuations against her, are totally at odds with the electoral majority.....They will re-elect her in a heart-beat, with an increased majority.......So is that electoral majority all screwed up, and these minority views are correct?

To denigrate a majority electorate usually goes hand-in-hand with denial of Electoral democracy as the best, although imperfect manner, to select who governs a country.

These disparaging comments are made by those, who would also self-servingly support a nullification of the current election, completing it and tabulating it.

That said, I think that in spite of all the political noise seeking to denigrate political space in Thailand by those who are served by such vilification, The country is blessed by having an electoral majority....Can you imagine if politically the country was split 50-50......One would have another Ukraine with its' 50-50 split both Linguistically and culturally.....The battles following an inconclusive electoral 50-50 split would make the current noise pale in comparison.

Makes no difference what her electoral majority is. Not a jot.

A crime, malfeasance in office or incompetence is not magically negated by having been elected.

And having been re-elected doesn't change that either.

Negatives are cumulative, just because some people are shielded from understanding them,

or are self-blinding to their leaders faults doesn't mean the faults do not exist or are invalid to be sanctioned.

If she had run her house in a way that squared with the constitution and the laws of the land,

there would be no way to bring her down, but that clearly is not the case.

You fail to understand anything. Any politician or company director for that matter, has the responsibility to keep on top of their paperwork, no if's but's or maybe's. To make an excuse that she is overwhelmed by it and is therefore unable to attend, that's just being evasive so as to avoid the responsibility of facing the court.
