i am buying a bottle of brandy on my stopover at dubai airport to phuket , now the question is can i open the bottle in phuket to use some and would i be allowed to carry the rest/ half the bottle with me to bangkok in my carryon bag inside the plane? or would it be confiscated? or putting it inside a check in baggage would be a better option?

Think the limit is still 100ml. Best to drink the lot.

    Drink it all and get another when you arrive in bangkok. Just before immigration
