rcalsop Posted June 5, 2006 Share Posted June 5, 2006 Is there any way to remove sticky tape residue that is commonly used to fix the Tax and insurance sticker to the inside of my car without damaging the window tint film.Cheers The free solvent given with the film after fitting will work it is used to remove the written /printed name that is on the film ie lamina or what ever any fitting shop has stock and it is free , I think it is the sameas nail varnish remover if you want to try a test ie acetone based pick a small inconspicuous area first .
