TexasRanger Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 I want to do the online application for my wife and have only ever done them on paper before, after completing the paper one there was s section to state that you were applying on behalf of the applicant and in which language you communicated. When signing up for an account do I need to sign up using her name and email etc. Or can I open the account in my name doing it on her behalf? To be clear she doesn't speak English so I will be completing the application for her. Cheers.
7by7 Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 She is the applicant, so the account has to be in her name. Though you can complete the application for her and pay the fee. She has to sign the print out and attend the VAC to hand in the application and her supporting documents and have her biometrics taken. 1

SantiSuk Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 You can use your e-mail address though if that expedites your monitoring of the process. 1
billybatson Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Probably a daft question this, but can you submit the online application at any time (24/7) or only during office hours?
