Hi I looking to take my wife and two infant kids to Koh Chang next week and was wondering if anyone knew a nice cheap hotel close to beach which will let us have a extra bed in the room for the kids, also which beach would cater best for a family with young children. Thanks

I used to stay at a place called plaloma lodge, at white sand beach. I think it was about 1500 baht, very clean, and close to the sea. This was a few years ago, however.

I usually stay at Mac Resort. It's about 1,500 with breakfast. Nice infinity pool. Unfortunatley, we were disappointed when we arrived with out newborn son to find out they don't have baby cots. They have an extra area (couch thing) that could be slept on if the kid is old enough.

We used to stay at the Koh Chang Resort and Spa, they have some family bungalows and smaller bungalows on the beach, good breakfast and restaurant. Also have a small pool. I forget the price but being school holidays most places will be charging top rates.
