PATTAYA:--On Monday, Pattaya Police announced the arrest of two suspected drug couriers, who are thought to work for a Prison Inmate currently incarcerated at the Pattaya Remand Prison.

Police Major General Katcha, the Provincial Police Commander, announced the arrest of two 20 year old men, Khun Wunapong and Khun Prasertsit. They were caught with 10,000 Yabba Tablets and 33.96g of Crystal Methamphetamine after a raid took place at the Classic Inn Hotel off the Tepprasit Road in Jomtien.

Police received word that a large consignment of drugs was at the location and was being prepared to be taken to Kon Kaen Province in the North-East of Thailand.

The drugs had been collected by the men and first taken to the Hotel in preparation for transport to the North-East Province.
