Need help to identify car model (homemade?)

Recommended Posts

I just have seen a car for the first time. It looked very strange, I would like to find out more about it. Pictures have been shot while driving, so please don't complain about the quality. whistling.gif

Never seen this car, found it by google.

From wiki:

The WiLL Vi is a compact car, produced from 2000 to 2001, with distinctive styling combining elements of many cars. The WiLL Vi was designed by the then newly formed Virtual Venture Company, headed by Jim Shimizu.

Thanks, Sherlock. I tried googling the pictures by upload on images.google.com, but got no results. The car was "shot" in Pak Chong, it was in perfect condition as far as I could see under the conditions. Must be a real car lover, the owner. Thanks again for the hint!

It appears to have been marketed as a Toyota.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmGAMTsXNiQ&noredirect=1

"The WiLL brand was a marketing approach shared from a small group of Japanese companies who decided to offer products and services that focused on a younger demographic from August 1999 until July 2004 in Japan. The companies that participated were the Kao Corporation (a manufacturer of personal hygiene, household detergents, and cosmetics), Toyota, Asahi Breweries, Panasonic, Kinki Nippon Tourist Company, Ltd, Ezaki Glico Candy, and Kokuyo Co., Ltd. (an office furniture and stationery manufacturer). Toyota also engaged in a similar "youth oriented" approach in North America, with the Project Genesis program. This selective marketing experiment reflected a Japanese engineering philosophy called Kansei engineering, which was used by other Japanese companies."

2000 to 2001? Must have been a popular model! It looks like the back of a Renault maybe it got confused too much.

If your shopping for one....try IKEA! wink.png

PS: If they haven't got one on display, check the really really big cardboard boxes.
