Heres a hard one for you guys.

Visting my family in France with my wife and son from the 3 to 26 july.

planning a trip to UK from the 20 to 25 july. when doing the visa for UK the only appointment place possible is in France but no appointment in July (only before) So how do I change the appointment place, lets say to Thailand where we live now?

Thanks a lot

You have to apply for a UK Visa in your country of residence, you say you are resident in Thailand, so that's where you should apply.

What nationality are you?

Moved to the Visa to other countries forum.

You have a couple of problems to deal with :

You cannot normally book application slots more than one week ahead, and that is why it is showing that there are no appointments available in July.

You cannot now change the place of application from France to Thailand. You will have to cancel your current application, and seek a refund of the fee ( if you paid a fee - see below).

Your wife can apply for a UK visit visa from France if she is there as a visitor in France, but she cannot make an appointment this far ahead. But see below

As your are an EEA national, your wife doesn't have to pay a fee for her visa, nor, in theory, does she have to make an appointment to submit an application. You could try just submitting an application for an EEA Family Permit her now as the dependant of an EEA national at the Embassy ( try VFS first) here or in Paris. The rules and regulations say that you don't need an appointment to do this ( if she is the dependant of an EEA national. This doesn't apply to dependants of British citizens applying for a UK visa, unfortunately). You can apply for a visa, using the appointment system, up to 3 months ahead, so you can apply for any vacant appointment slot now, and the visa will still be valid in July, but you will have to pay for the visa . An EEA family Permit is more appropriate.
