waheedz
Hello There, I am a frequent traveller to Thailand for medical and business purposes. I used to use DTAC network but somehow I lost the sim. I want to buy a sim card which will give me unlimited validity with international roaming. Please suggest which sim to buy ..... Thanks.
SDM0712
I don't think any of the "pay as your earn" sims give unlimited validity. I know that DTAC "HAPPY" and AIS 12Call have maximum credit of 5000 baht and 1 year's validity. Not sure about True. SDM
lomatopo
All pre-paid SIMs here are limited to 365 days maximum validity. One can maintain that maximum validity by adding value. All pre-paid SIMs allow for international roaming, but one must activate this feature, and be prepared for quite high costs for calling (50 - 80 baht/min.). AIS/One-2-Call/AWN/2100 DTAC/Happy/Tri-NET TrueMove H are the three leading operators here.
songhklasid
I've had the same AIS (1-2 call) phone # for 10 years or more, I return to thailand every 6 months or so, just put credit on your phone, preferably @ a online store in 200-500 baht amounts before you depart thailand, ( my seperate thai phone with simcard remains off whilst in AUS ) I hope this answers your question. r regards S.S. I just came back from thailand this month, phone credit is good till jan 15. Edited May 19, 2014 by songhklasid
