I found an other topic regarding this matter, but need to be clarified...

 

I need to send a document to Thailand, with DHL.Does the receiver ( private individual) need to register to Thai Customs or this applies only when sending other stuff, like food, medicines?

 

I have sent before a passport to Thailand, but did not get this message, about registering.It was in 2019.

Just send your documents.

If the receiver has to do anything then DHL will inform him about that.

Make  sure you add a good telephone nr so DHL can call you  to deliver 

here in the north i have to go to the sub depot  to get but they call me first ,

have many documents coming from nl this way

I received a replacement card sent from europe via dhl last week and have had the same many times.

Just an electronic signature and collect it. That is all. 

We almost every weeek send confidential company΄s report with DHL from Greece-Athens to our home company in Romania Bucharest capital and we have no problems.

If you have written receiver΄s name -address and mobile phone number then DHL is very trustworthy company and receiver will get them on time.

He/she will show his/her Idendification card and he/she will sign the consignment form.No problem!

You have to give a contact number or they won't send the parcel.

 

But rightly so,make sure it's an operable one.
