I have a question on PME/MEN Link on Crossy's illustration in The Thailand Page (correct wiring of a simple installation).

He shows the PME/MEN Link, going from the Neutral incoming side of the MCB/ELCB to the earth bar.

Question: Could the PME/MEN Link be connected, using the correct wire size, from the Neutral Bar to the Earth Bar achieving the same results?

Those diagrams are now out of date, please see Forky's pinned thread that shows the approved way of hooking up the supply with the incoming neutral routed via the earth bar.

The MEA / PEA inspector will expect to see that routing, no other arrangement will do.

and no, linking the neutral and earth bars will defeat and front end RCD device (it won't ever reset). The link must be made before any RCD protection.
