chappie1207
Hi all, I have posted this on the visa forum and also on ask the lawyer...looking for as much help/advice as i can get... I have lived in Thailand for over 6 years and have been working legally since arriving. I lost my job at the end of February this year and had to change my visa status from Non B to tourist (i got a double entry from Laos). Also finding a new job is proving very difficult. I receive money from pensions i receive from the UK (about 20,000 baht per month), I am 43 years old. The reason I stay in Thailand is I have a 5 year old son here (he was born here). My ex who is Singaporean (we were never married) has stage 2 cervical cancer and undergoing treatment (she lives here with her family), my son lives with me. He goes to school here and has never been out of the country. My current girlfriend (who is from the Philippines and working here) and I are expecting a baby in December, we are registered at Sukhumvit hospital. With the upcoming immigration changes, what am I able to do? Is there a visa I can apply for that can allow me to stay without this worry? Many thanks
