PATTAYA:--In the early hours of Sunday, Police and rescue services were called to Pattaya Third Road in Central Pattaya to assist two injured people whose motorbike struck an oncoming car.

The crash occurred in front of Soi 17 and resulted in injuries sustained to a motorbike taxi driver, Khun Pentawee aged 40 and his passenger Khun Alee aged 30. The bike struck the left wing-mirror of an oncoming White Toyota Vios driven by Khun Penapar aged 25.

The Vios driver claimed she was driving in a normal manner towards the Central Pattaya Road junction when the motorbike came out from Soi 17 and began to drive in the wrong direction and on the wrong side of the road towards South Pattaya.

Feel sorry for the motor-bike passenger. Injured through brainless riding of the taxi-driver.

Feel sorry for the car driver as they now have to deal with the insurance company.

But hope the motor-bike driver sustains deserved injuries for brainless disregard for the law and the safety of his passenger.

Stupidity in the extreme.

You should call the police and tell them you already solved the case.

Police are still investigating the crash to see who was at-fault.

Pathetic reply "Vacuum". Think before you chime in. "Wrong direction and wrong side of the road"

I am curious why are you seemingly prepared to give a motorbike taxi rider the benefit of the doubt more than the Vios driver? I mean, why would the car driver think of lying about the direction the motorcycle was travelling when the passenger will quickly be able to verify the version of events.

But anyway it is not as if taxi riders don't do this kind of thing? I see it almost every daybah.gif
