midas
On the 15 th June 2006 I was granted an extension a non-immigrant multiple entry visa until the 21st February 2007. This is number 26893/49 and I also had a work permit which my employers retained. As I am no longer working for this company as of yesterday could anyone tell me if I must leave Thailand immediately ? In other words is the visa tied to the work permit ? Assuming your extension was granted on the grounds of employment and you are no longer employed the extension is now null and void. You have 7 days to turn in the WP, you are then supposed to go to immigration to get the extension cancelled. They will give you 7 days to leave the country.
