Work permit for using B visa and 5 days per week lessons on Ed Visa - Malaysian borders

Featured Replies

I see that 'HD Visa' today mentioned that the southern borders with Malaysia are asking for work permits for some people who are on B visas now.

This border crossing seems to be the pioneer for all new up and coming visa regulations, he's the one who's been refusing entrance to people on tourist visas lately.

So don't forget to bring the work permit or you might be flying back. If you don't have a work permit with your B visa then it might be a good idea to avoid this border crossing entirely and hope they don't start doing it at the airports as well.

According to another post you also have to prove you're going to school for 2 hours per day 5 days a week if you're on the Ed visa - same border with Malaysia. I know a lot of schools offer 2 day per week 2 hour lessons - that's what I did when I had an Ed visa. Looks like they're changing this as well.
