webfact
Moncton shooting: Justin Bourque pleads guilty to murders MONCTON: -- A Canadian man accused of killing three police officers in June in Moncton, New Brunswick, has pleaded guilty to all charges. Justin Bourque, 24, was arrested after a two-night manhunt following the deadly shootings. Bourque faces up to three consecutive life sentences during sentencing. The shooting was the deadliest attack on the country's police force since four officers were killed in the province of Alberta in 2005. Moncton Mayor George LeBlanc told broadcaster CBC he was "relieved" Bourque pleaded guilty, as the families of the deceased officers would not have to go through a trial. "It's been a terrible tragedy for the families and has been very, very difficult for all members of the RCMP [Royal Canadian Mounted Police]," he said. "I think that our first thoughts have to be with [them]."Full story: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-28749367 [bbc]2014-08-12[/bbc]
ggt
Why does he get to live out his life?...after taking 4 lives...? There are times when justice calls for more than a life sentence...
Maroon Watcher
When a person is blatantly guilty, with reliable witnesses and cctv of a murder then he should be put to rest. All his belongings should be added to the courts compensation to the victoms family - that's Justice.

NoBrainer
The same should apply to the Dick that just shot Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. He should get a taste of lethal injection, but we all know that is not going to happen. He will probably get a medal & a salary increase.
