Chao Lao Beach
Hi, this place (Icon) is very central, close to a big Tesco and about 500m form the new BigC. About 400-500b, it is often booked out. The pics of the roms on this site are real pics, it is maintained very well. http://www.theicon304.com/content_english/main.html They do have long rental and it is cheap, I forget the price. Due to this, (booked out, I just turn up) I often stay in the other one a bit closer to Tesco, (300m away) a little bit nicer but almost same same, 1000B with B'fast, I forget its name. Maybe Residence?? I will grab a screen shot off Google tomorrow for ya. Bed time now. FYI, this would be about 3km ish from the 304 estate entrance. PS, Found only 1 decent pub in that area, it is an extremely boring area, but about 30km north it is more pleasant due to the hills and it is green. Chao Lao Beach
There are some nice resort hotels, catering for factory executives mainly I believe, most are 2000+ a night form what I have seen. I mentioned that one to the OP as he is on a budget that I thought it suited best, of the hotels I have stayed at there.
