webfact Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Seven treated for ammonia inhalation after rice factory blastThe NationRAYONG: -- Seven residents of Rayong province suffered nausea and eyes and nose irritation after an ice-making machine near their community exploded on Wednesday morning, sending out ammonia fumes.Police said the blast happened at the Sujira Pattana ice factory in Rayong's Muang district at 8:30 am.The seven people were rushed to the Rayong Hospital but released after receiving treatment.Tambon Choengnone Municipality dispatched two fire engines to spray water to control the spread of the gas. worgeordie Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 The work place in Thailand seems to be quite a dangerous place to be, buildings falling down,boilers exploding,bombs in scrap yards,and all the other accidents one never hears about, lack of any safety regulations, cutting corners,and maintenance that is never done.working for a pittance , its a risky place to be. regards Worgeordie
