He added that police had given enough time for the doctor to prepare evidences for his defence and there would be no reprieve.Pol Col Decha disclosed that the eighth surrogate mother with Mr Mitsitoki as the biological father did not show up for questioning as promised and police were unable to contact her.He added that warrants would be issued for three other surrogate mothers who are incooperative with the police to report to Lumpini police for questioning.Source: http://englishnews.thaipbs.or.th/doctor-surrogacy-services-scandal-faces-arrest-show-see-police/ -- Thai PBS 2014-08-
Popular Post NongKhaiKid
Err, Umm just a thought but if the doctor isn't co-operating why not go out and get him ? The BIB say he's had enough to prepare for an interview but still another extension is granted. IAll these summonses, extensions etc only help a suspect organise a defence, destroy / arrange evidence as appropriate and so on. Of course in some cases that may well the the intention. Is there any wonder the BIB aren't taken seriously ?

Come, come, I think you are being a little harsh . . . it takes time for the Doctor to get that large cash "donation" together and destroy/alter evidence so that the BiB can turn around later and state that there is no evidence and he can't be charged . . .

onlycw
How strange. Why can't the cops just show up with some search and arrest warrant and haul the honorable doctor in for extensive questioning? What is this pussyfooting around, with warnings and all? Remember the shocking case of the kidnappers who tortured the Karen girl, then the were allowed to leave "on bail" (low bail). People who kidnap and torture a child don't spend any jail time? Mmm, let me think. Apparently, yes. What is going on around here?!
worgeordie
The good Dr, is VIP,not common folk like us,the police treat them differently, the double system of how influential people,Vs the rest starts even before arrests are made, who gets bail, the poor certainly don't,right up to sentencing,(if they ever get found guilty),the fines are certainly not in line , to the wealth of the VIP,peanuts to them. He will turn up when he is good and ready, regards worgeordie
