Have you tried the temples ? I once met a Thai monk who spoke 5 languages and often find one that speaks English. Might even meet a liked minded foreigner there.

English speaking Buddhists or similar in Pattaya

Not being facetious, but what do you mean by "or similar?" Similar to an English speaking Buddhist seems unfathomable to me.

I guess: "deep thinkers interested in being good, better, or the best person they can be" sheds some light, but I would assume a lot of people think of themselves as "deep thinkers" and/or wish to be the best they can be. Once located, what do you want to do with them?

This all sounds so vague as to be counterproductive to whatever it is you're seeking.
