Can We Have Two Houses?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I have a little problem. Me and my lady live up in the north and we have nice house with a couple of rais. Everything in her name.

Now we have bought a "summerhouse" 9 km from our house up in the mountains. There is a newly built house on the land but the land has no papers (no shinod) but the house has a housebook. So the house is registered with a number and the former owner got a free solarsystem to the house.

My problem is with this housebook. One person can not be in two housebooks because a person can only live in one place (vote in one place etc etc....)

So what can we do with the new housebook? The former owner has signed him out of the book so it is "empty". People have adviced me to sign in my ladies brother as living in the house (he lives far away in Chonburi) but I am not very interested in that solution.

If noone lives in the house the goverment might take back the solarsystem or ask us to pay for it but that is no big problem.

Someone has the same "problem" and with a good solution?

Thanks!

I don't understand. What is the problem? Is an empty house book a problem in some way....if so can you say why it is a problem? You say the loss or payment for the solar system is not problem...is that right? So I don't understand what the problem is.

We have two houses and the same names in each no issue ...not even a question or doubt it was normal ? are we lucky ???? . What are you actually worried about ?

Someone has the same "problem" and with a good solution?

Thanks!

Sorry if I was not clear in my question.

Is there a problem with a housebook that is "empty", noone living in the house?

We had an empty tabien baan for some time as my wife couldn't be bothered to go to Amphur. Doesn't matter, just register place she wants to vote, and where Government facilities required, for example schools.
