September 21, 201411 yr Hi! my current situation: Non-Imm O Marriage visa (2nd extension) will be expired at 28 sept. I can't make new extension because of problems with my wife So I booked tickets to Singapore and back to CM 23.09-30.09 , hotel , useless ticket from BKK to KL at 30 nov. I want to apply for tourist visa for 2 months with 1 ext at immigration , after this Im planning to buy Easy Access Elite for 500k , so I will not have any problems with future visas for 5 years But I've just made quick research on thaivisa about embassy in SG and it looks like I choose wrong place for it some rule about not giving any tourist visa for ppl who stay in Thailand for last 6 months . So am I right? what can be best solution for me in my case? Book more tickets SG-Laos? Really don't want to go anywhere else =\ Thanks in advance for help
September 21, 201411 yr The only recent rejection I can recall in Singapore is for a person that had several visa exempt entries and tourist visas. Since you have been on extensions you should not have a problem. If you could get signed and dated copies of your wife's house book and ID card you could try to get a single entry non-o visa by showing your marriage certificate with them. They might also want to see financial proof also.

September 21, 201411 yr I just came back from Singapore a fortnight ago, I had a new passport ( the old one was replaced as ran out of pages), was previously on an education visa. I asked for a tourist visa but was refused as I didn't have a ticket for leaving thailand ( planning to marry long term girlfriend) so just got the regular 30 day stamp upon arrival in phuket. Hope that helps ?

September 22, 201411 yr from 9/30 to 11/30 is 62 days.........they won't give TV's unless your ticket out of thailand is 60 days or less.......it does not matter to them that you can get an extension!.......although you might get lucky and they don't notice the extra 2 days. this is what you are dealing with down there!

If you are still married, that is legal and correct.
September 22, 201411 yr Singapore was the most difficult place we ever tried to get a tourist visa. I had no problem as I had a ticket out of Thailand within the 60 days. However my husband did not. He finally did get a tourist visa after we asked to speak with a supervisor. At first the supervisor wanted to see a fair amount of cash. We did not want to take that amount out of the bank as we were only staying for a few more days. She finally agreed to a print out of my bank balance. So make sure that your application is perfectly filled out. Have proof of your ticket out, a print out of your bank balance and the exact amount in Singaporian dollars for the visa and you should be fine.
