Just watched part two of The Cilla Black Story with the Excellent Sheridan Smith (the young blonde from Benidorm series)...

It's excellent, really enjoying the series, and how she started off in the music scene, in Liverpool and about the Beatles and Brian Epstein, actually never knew he died when he was 34 years old...

I've always liked Cilla and liked her singing , especially "Step inside Love"' , but this series gives you a true like life story of her, and when she was courting Bobby, and there lives together..., and alll that went on in that era....

As for Sheridan Smith she is Amazing, was always doubled up with her in "Bendirom" and I also saw her in "Legally Blonde" , in the West End in London.....

Lulu is another classic, and also a great singer......

she is a wonderful actres she had an affair with James coulden not sure if that's how you spell it he is the fat comedic actor not a lot of people know that

Yes, ISO believe she went out with him, but that's a while ago, not sure how her love life is going now, but I like her she is a wee smasher...., everything she is in she is amazing... Down to earth which I like...

Cilla Black is a British Icon, even when she was on Suprose Suprise, she was excellent, down to earth friendly and chatty.

Never heard a bad thing about her.....

Once again loved the series... Maybe it might be "Lulu" next ???

Talking of Lulu, just saw her in her early days in "to Sir with love" starring Sidney Potier.

Enjoyed seeing it again, and Lulu sang the theme tune aswell as being in the film. It had "introducing Lulu" in the credits. I think that was her springboard to fame.

I can't stand Cilla Black. Ok singer but terrible songs. Blind Date was the worst show ever. I think it was her accent that annoyed me and her funny face.
