This is a standard phishing ploy that has been running around the globe for years. I just got one saying a "computer identified as mine but not linked to iTunes had bought a Miley Cyrus (sp?) song for $3.98. If me, ignore; if not me click this link." There are so many variations that everyone with an email account should know never to click on links in any email that deals with money or goods. Go to the official web site.

Whenever you get an email trying to get you to click a link, hover the mouse over the mail address to see if it remotely resembles the purported sender; and hover the mouse over any links and look carefully to make sure it isn't dodgy (like www.australiap0st.com).

Usually Phishing msgs stick out like a sore thumb, but in case they don't, these are usually dead giveaways.

An excellent idea! clap2.gif

I always use the "hover and check the link" method.

I don't expect it would always identify them but seems to for me in most cases.
