PM to attend APEC meeting in Beijing on November 9-11

BANGKOK, 30 October 2014 (NNT) – Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha is set to attend the 22nd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting in Beijing, China during November 9-11.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of APEC. This is the second time for the APEC meetings to be held in China, with the first time in Shanghai in 2001.

China will host the meeting under the theme "Shaping the Future through Asia-Pacific Partnership" and will focus on advancing economic integration, promoting innovative economic development, reform and growth, and strengthening comprehensive connectivity and infrastructure development.

General Prayut will discuss Thailand’s economic achievements in a dialogue with the leaders of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC), which is part of the series of APEC sessions he will attend.

The APEC is a 21-member economic forum whose primary goal is to support sustainable economic growth and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region. Thailand is among the 12 Asia-Pacific economies that established the APEC.

Even if there are two weeks to the summit, dare we already now conclude, that the PM again made the world listen?? And the other leaders expressed their admiration for Thainess, and their understanding of the need for the coup, as a true way to democracy!!

All according to my fortuneteller ofcourse!!rolleyes.gif

China will host the meeting under the theme "Shaping the Future through Asia-Pacific Partnership"

Is that the partnership where China takes and others give? Maybe the theme might better be called "Shaping the Future through Asia-Pacific Partnership or the USA will kick China's backside."
