JohnThailandJohn
I would think the money they may have acquired illegally would not be declared publicly and would be hidden from such disclosures. While certainly money laundering may be a factor, is it fairly hard to say you made a billion from a 711 shop on a neighborhood Soi. Point being, if you choose to believe this is all illegal gains then have to wonder how much they are hiding. On the other side of the coin if they are claiming this much publicly, they must be able to provide some info on where it came from otherwise it is pointless to even ask. Issangeorge
Obviously the best career in Thailand is the military. 128 million over about 40 years works out to about 266,666 per month, not bad.

NongKhaiKid
Chosen people run their company named Thailand. I think Thailand Inc was coined during the good Mr Thaksin's tenure? The King once said in an unusually serious birthday speech said Thailand was being run as a ' wholly owned subsidiary ', no prizes for guessing who the PM was at the time. Keesters
When you have the sort of money being declared here why the need to be corrupt and try and increase it in the short time they will be in office and run the risk of getting caught and having it confiscated. A look at how it was obtained in the first place might be in order. But I doubt they'll do that.
Commerce
How does one have 128 million in assets, and have personal debts of 600,000? I still can't fathom this out. Most millionaires I know don't owe a single satang to anybody; they are the one's owed. Then again, maybe extensions to the house are ongoing, to place a few missing Ferraris in, once located, and seized, and transferred to one, using one's position.
