Re-entering Thailand fm vacation with a O-Visa, when to immigration?

Featured Replies

No information found online, so it would be great if one of you know the answer.

The situation:

She is living in Thailand with an O-Visa (50+), but went abroad for some months. Before she left Thailand she received a stamp in her passport from the immigration office with the latest entering date to keep her O-Visa valid.

The latest entering date was 6 November, and she arrived at 1 November.

When is she supposed to go the immigration? Before 6 November, or after 3 months as usual?

Thanks!

No one with an O visa 50+ need to go to the Immigration. You have to leave the country every 90 days. Or maybe she have an extension of stay?

She needs to apply for a new extension of stay (it is not a visa) by the 6th.

A re-entry permit gives no extra time it is only keeps the current permit to stay valid when re-entering the country.

Bkklasse, not sure if we talk about the same thing, but thanks for your attention.

Ubonjoe, she said this makes sense and this is what she is going to do this week.

THANX for the quick response!
