November 21, 201411 yr The course has now reopened after a reported spend of 150 million Baht and redesign by the people who did Highlands.. Not sure how the spend split between clubhouse and golf course. The Thai resident rates are 2,500 weekday (3,000 weekend) green fee, 300 caddie and 600 cart. {all Baht} Anyone played there yet? At these fees I think it is now the most expensive course in Chiang Mai for residents. Can anyone comment on value for money compared to Alpine or Highlands? Cheers
November 21, 201411 yr Posted on our website. ChiangmaiGolfCourses .com/blog Very high prices and currently no Thai Resident prices. All the other courses have them. Gassan Lake was notorious for dual pricing for Thai & Farang residents. Have not played there yet and certainly will not at those prices.
November 21, 201411 yr Probably aimed the Japanese/Korean tourist market. Saw a load of guys being unloaded at the Imperial Mae Ping the other day complete with clubs. I guess CM golf course fees are a lot cheaper then Hua Hin and certainly easier to get to from OS
November 21, 201411 yr Probably aimed the Japanese/Korean tourist market. Saw a load of guys being unloaded at the Imperial Mae Ping the other day complete with clubs. I guess CM golf course fees are a lot cheaper then Hua Hin and certainly easier to get to from OS Gold Canyon is Korean owned and provides accommodation for tour groups from Korea, the whole package. Even their own coach to pick up players from the airport and move them around post golf. They have deals this month but are fully booked from December through to mid February. But that's it, they have to make their money in a very short time. They are sensible and offer very good deals to residents during the low season, Inthanon are the same, sensible low season pricing. Most of the others do not offer reasonable low season prices, I guess Gassan Legacy will follow that trend. Local players,Thai & Farang will continue to patronise those that do. Thainess?
July 10, 201510 yr Any updates on low season pricing for Legacy Gasson? Maybe an attractive 'Sports Day' on offer?
