leggo
Has anyone had experience with sending a small but valuable package to UK. I have some old family cutlery (more sentimental value than anything although a few pieces are in silver) all stuff which I brought here from the UK in my luggage but as I wish to travel a bit in Asia before returning want to send it back ahead of me safely to be delivered to a member of my family. Any suggestions?
ATF
It won't get lost if you have tracking, I use EMS. The problem will be duty in the UK. To avoid this ship as a gift or returned items at a low value. About 20 GBP.

Why should I have to pay duty on the UK on goods made in the UK and very old - probably 1950's - and personal items?
