ColinChapman
Has anyone been to the NASA - A Human Adventure exhibition at Central Lad Prao? Is it mostly aimed at children or adults? Is it worth going for someone who is interested in spaceflight?
expat_4_life
Have not been personally, here is a link with some information about the exhibition http://www.tatnews.org/nasa-space-exhibition-to-be-held-in-bangkok-the-first-of-its-kind-in-southeast-asia/ Ticket prices can be found here http://www.thaiticketmajor.com/performance/performance-detail.php?sid=2417&la=en From what I recall reading about it some time ago, the rides are not included in the ticket prices. dekestone
I went and enjoyed it. I think both kids and adults can get something out of it. It's a first class exhibition the likes of which you never see here (although many of the larger artifacts like the Gemini capsule are 'full scale replicas' and not the real thing). All of the display signs and vdos are in English and Thai. (Although you may have to wait a few minutes until they finish all the selfies before you can get close enough to read them lol.) If you're interested in the history of space travel it's well worth it. I was happy to see a lot of Thai kids there. I grew up going to great museums in my home town and these kids have very little. maybe some will be inspired to become scientists or engineers (or museum curators!).
