I have a funny feeling that "cargo" companies in Thailand might charge me double as a "tourist" price... I've heard from $200-$300, but just checked at a shop, and they wanted 15 000 baht + 6000 baht for fumigation and 20% customs for a total price of 21 000 baht, so about double of what I have read on this forum ... Any advice appreciated, I went to Laemb Cha Bang port today but they were closed... Also, I forgot to specify, these will be jars of Kosher dill pickles, properly packed in boxes and crated.
