MaeJoMTB
An excellent contender, and so early in the year, for the most ridiculous 2015 TV post. How do you lot make this stuff up, where does it come from ? Do you dream these stupid ideas and then convert them into TV posts, "if you can go back, what would you do differently" ?..... Ludicrous..... and yet people actually respond to it as if it were a perfectly normal subject. Well worth a cyber like. It's laughable to read these "wise reflections" from failed Westerners who ended up in Thailand for one reason only. Most of us are fully financed for the rest of our lives. Does that make us failures? Do you still have to work for a living?
micmichd
Not for myself, I could live on pension. But I'm a workaholic.
RichieHuaHin
Most of us are fully financed for the rest of our lives. Does that make us failures? It means you're a failure with women and have a tiny pension.
micmichd
It means you've got another (maybe last) chance and social security for the rest of your life. If you marry, maybe social security for the rest of your lady's life. Count it out: 60 kb monthly pension adds up to 14,4 MB in 20 years. Plus maybe additional property, depends. And no financial obligations in Farang country anymore, if you're lucky. Where's the failure? Without permanent pensions, chances are that all your savings will be gone within a couple of years - either to Thai families or to Farang banks. Up to you where you see the better future.
