webfact Posted April 23, 2015 Share Posted April 23, 2015 North Pattaya Market Vendors caught gamblingPATTAYA: -- On a slow morning at a Market in Naklua, a group of vendors decided to gamble as they waited for customers but someone at the market contacted the Police and vendors were arrested.A total of 5 market vendors were suspected of playing the popular dice game “Hi-Low” for money, which contravenes Thailand’s strict anti-gambling laws. Seems odd in a country where the national sport - Muay Thai - is dominated by the insatiable gambling tendencies of a large number of Thai men.
