I have a Honda Zoomer thats 2 years old and 18500 kms on the clock. Always serviced 'oil change' by Honda and looked after by me.

The last few days it has lost a bit of power as a hill I live on, that it easily when up is now a struggle.

Is there a 'slipper clutch' of sorts as it's doesn't rev like it used to under load.

Are there any idea's for me to check as to what the problem could be, before I visit the Honda shop.

Thank u for any help from anyone

If the centrifical clutch is slipping it would rev like crazy for little forward momentum. Your problem is probably related to engine, fuel system or spark.

Check that they didn't overfill the oil level. Same thing happened to a friend of mine. At the oil change they added the oil but didn't drain the oil first. It wouldn't go up a hill. No engine damage after a drain (2x the normal amount of oil came out.) and a refill to the proper level. (amount) Amazing.
