Hotel accommodations in Sukhothai

Featured Replies

Hello,

I need advice for hotel accommodations in Sukhothai. Location preferred along bustling streets like the night market, as I'm a late sleeper. Do not like quiet and dark locations.

No limit on budget as long as room is spacious and comfy.

Thank you so much.

No recommendations anyone?

Well since you didn't get any recommendations I'll give you the name of the place where my wife and I stayed a couple of times. You can check out their website for details but I suspect it may not be to your liking although wife and I thought it a great place and they served excellent Thai food too.

Thank you Spaniel for your reply. Unfortunately the hotel you recommended is based in Bangkok, while I'm looking for recommendations in Sukhothai.

I just now re-checked the website and it is for the Athome Guest House in Sukhothai. As I mentioned wife and I have stayed there before and it's in Sukhothai! Take another look at the website.

Hi Spaniel,

I just managed to get to the right website.

I would appreciate if you could kindly advise:

1. The rooms are bright (adequate lightings)?

2. Are the rooms spacious?

3. What about the condition of their bathrooms?

4. Are there eateries outside the guest house? In case if I can't sleep at night, at least I can find a place to drink tea.

I can't see clearly from the website. Thank you so much.

I'm not sure if this place will be a good fit for you but my wife and I enjoyed it and will stay there again if in Sukhothai. The rooms weren't particularly bright or spacious but ok for a night or two. Now we didn't look at every room so they may have larger ones available. The bathrooms were quite acceptable. I recall their were eateries in the area but keep in mind the restaurant in the Guest House served excellent Thai food. You might want to look them up on TripAdvisor. They have many favorable reviews there and and pic as well.
