We need an East Sukhumvit hotel with a pool. Any tips?

Rex, right on the Thong Lor station.

It has a pool (small, could be 4x8m), the price is 700-800B. Some people I know use it as a 1 night accommodation when coming into BKK for travel overseas or when returning from trips to their homes in the provinces.

REX rate is 900B since they renewed the pool, inlc breakfast ticket for one pax.

The REX is on the corner of Soi 32, a couple blocks to the Skytrain steps, near Soi36.

It's a little run down, but for 880bt, a good deal.

They have a few rooms that have a super nice view. Look for the room with number ending, 37, 39, 41.

A delicious little Thai Restaurant next door is a must.

Rex Hotel a bit run down but they are renovating it now, clean rooms and sheets, Mr Jack the hotel tailor, collect clothes next day, steer clear of hotel taxi !!, get doorman to hail one from the street.

I tried booking through hotelthailand.com and it failed (probably my sec. settings).

I'll try the TV service.

Is the pool good? That's what I'm gonna need...

I stay there regularly and don't complain for the price, I have seen worse for less and for more.
