RickNew
Can anyone tell me how soon I can renew my one year O-A visa before the expiration date? I believe it's 30 days but not positive. Thanks!

Popular Post TheAppletons
You can extend your annual permission to stay 30-45 days in advance, depending upon the local office you use. If it's the first year of your O-A visa, you can leave the country just before the "enter before" date and you'll be stamped in for a year upon your re-entry into the country (provided your re-entry is still prior to the "enter before" date.)

paz
Here's the handout from Phuket Immigration regarding the one year renewal. Called "retirement visa" for ease, it's actually an "extension of stay". Check application form TM.7 below
Lite Beer
There is no such thing as a Retirement Visa. You do not renew. You apply for a 12 month extension of stay. 30 or 45 days before your current stay expires. Depending on where you apply.
Expattaff1308
You dont say whether you are in your first year or not?? as said in post 3 if you are still within your first year there is a facility to extend for a further year by doing a border run, if however you are now in your second year then an extension of stay is required (post 4) Each Imm office has its own quirks will pay to ask them if they accept renewal to extensions earlier than 30 days in advance.
