shopgurl
It's a restaurant with a sky bar as well and is located on top of the 63rd floor at State Building (I think) right at the end of Silom/Bangrak.

shopgurl
Sorry guys, ended up not going. It was senseless to pay over 5,000 baht for a mediocre dinner....even if the view is amazing....
tutsiwarrior
right on...I'm told that in those places women are expected to wear sacrificial robes and smile meekly when advised that their kweiteo cost 2k baht...
bbetty
Hi.....I went there about a week after it first opened and it was amazing. Definatly the type of place to go with your partner, very romanitic. Nice background jazz playing, good food and of course SPECTACULAR views. My favourite aspect of the decor is the sweeping staircase down from the elevators......makes you feel like you are in a hollywood film!!
tutsiwarrior
sounds like the set from The Bride of Frankenstein...not that I'm particular, who would pass up the opportunity to bone a female monster?
Sunbelt Asia
This pass weekend, they were not accepting reservations as they were booked solid. Thinking of going? You may have to reserve a table a week in advance. Agreed on the views, simply stunning. Nothing like it in this World. Its the tallest rooftop restaurant on planet earth. Expect to pay around 1,500 per person for dinner and drinks. http://www.2bangkok.com/2bangkok/buildings/state/state.shtml
