BANGKOK: -- Thailand and Myanmar yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding to exempt visas for citizens of both countries who travel on planes.

The agreement was signed by Thai Foreign Minister Gen Tanasak Patimapagorn and Myanmar Foreign Minister Wunna Maung Lwin in Chiang Mai’s Shangri-La hotel as Asean will turn a single economic community next year.
