Sport injury Dr/specialist

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I keep on getting a recurring injury from playing football, and I think its about time that I saw someone to try resolve the problem.

Does anyone know of, or can recommend any Drs or therapists/specialists who specialise in this area?

Im not looking for a massage guy, but more of a Dr or physiotherapist who can help me recover, and advise how to strengthen the affected area (hip flexor muscle).

Thanks in advance

Ian.

A trip to BKK to one of the large hospitals like Samtivej might be worthwhile. They have specialised Sports related Departments to deal with sports injuries & rehab.

Hi just recovering as well, been to Bangkok/Samui Hospital, lady doctor/orthopedic around 40 years old (sorry no name) was impressiv - but the best was and still is the guy at the physical therapy/rehab. department - sorry dont have the name, but there is only one man there, seems maybe gay but he is very motivated and understand his job

of course not cheap, my insurance covers it, yesterday the bill was 1.800 THB for 2 hours, warm packs, electric power stimmulation, massage and extensive training...may its cheaper if you pay direct and no insurance involved.

Cheers
