It's not the number of photos received it how you analyse the images you have that tells you the story. I'm sure their Russian and Chinese counterparts have people on staff in the Thailand Embassies with expertise in this area. Why don't they ask for help instead of spouting excuses?? Finding it in a house is significant if this is somehow related to the incident of last Monday. The house will certainly have a "paper trail"... who owns it, who rents it, who has been seen coming and going, who and what else is in the house, and lots of other factors that a competent investigation team could go to work on instead of hassling random farangs. Finger prints, witnesses, clothing, source of materials etc Should be good but alas the bomb squad has cleaned it up and have it in pride of place in the mess. Once again, the art of misleading quotes from the RTP gets another boost! Take a media that's bound and determined to be the first with the story, add some words that translate ambiguously, and factor in the desire for some folks to look heroic and others to draw in readers, and I think it's reasonable to wait for a few hours after the story first hits the blogs before jumping to any conclusions. Now who would get the budget for the maintenance of these cameras?? It would appear that the bomber may have had an inkling of the surveilence problems?? Here SkyNews seems to relay the same false information as in an AFP release from 09.20GMT today. AFP has been publishing false info before, during 'periods of tension' in Thailand, mostly in line with the biased views from Shins/PTP/UDD. Where did they get their 'inspiration' this time...? But from SkyNews, it is pretty unexpected for me! THIS is creating panick, and has a negative influence on (potential) tourists, as it seems to have been spread everywhere, I first read about it on the front page (just under the top title) from the Internet site from the N°1 newspaper in my EU country! A tuk tuk driver who carried the suspected bomber said he may have been from the "middle east". I think the real question is that no extremist organisation has claimed responsibility. As weird as it may sound, i still have a hope that they nail the culprits of the Erawan bombing, and if they find other criminals on the way, the more, the better. Thailand really needs some forensic scientists... leaving all this work to the police with antiquated ideas just doesn't cut today's world...
