Upon further inspection it is because of the SIM registration issue. If you are having trouble adding credit, dial *151# to see if you are registered or not. It has been in all Thai media, thousands of signs and notes everywhere. But at least your post proofs that there ARE people who still haven't got the message Hurry up as the NBTC announced that such SIMs will be finally terminated on Oct 1st.
