Difficult to find, most are steel framed and a bit heavy with crap components, oversized levers etc.. In the end I bought my son an alloy framed 20" Specialized Hot Rock [s/spd back pedal brake] outside of Thailand. He still uses it for jumping, but really it's too small now for anything else. The problem is they outgrow the bikes so fast!! You can get away with a lighter BMX so that your kid can get more years out of it. Some friends have done that - and it seems to be more cost effective - but as always it depends on your budget....

Right, I'll ask my LBS if they can special order. Otherwise will have to make a trip to the states. Unless your son is willing to sell his Hot Rock.
