JMWPACIFIC
Travel Insurance covers a myriad of things but the most important, for me at least, is coverage for Medical Expenses Incurred out of Thailand, Personal Accident, Repatriation/Emergency Medical Evacuation, Coverage For Related Medical Expenses When Back in TH. I just bought a policy from AA Insurance/AIG with Baht 5,000,000 Limit for 9 days to Burma for Baht 1,489. The rest of the coverage for minor amounts is for trip cancellation, trip curtailment, loss of baggage, etc. which I assume one has to read the small print. Again, the most important is for medical/accident. Contact AA for policy limits and costs.
