The first 2 meters of digging into the ground was done late afternoon with the help of this concrete truck: Let's hope they are finished before high season starts again! I remember a few years ago now, a lorry running out of control down the hill in to Patong; it wiped out several vehicles including a Police patrol car. Unbelievably nobody was injured.
