Abbott didn't even to manage to survive one term as PM, some of the reasons being he was considered divisive and making too many errors of judgement.

Hardly a compelling argument for his being wrong on refugees, given that his two predecessors, Kevin Rudd and Comrade Gillard, who welcomed refugees with open arms, also both didn't survive one term as PM.

A better comparison would be with John Howard, whose policy was to prevent refugees, and who was PM for four full consecutive terms.

You will find it was Rudd who put the basic policies in place to stop the 'boat people' with his PNG Solution, Abbott falsely claims the credit.

These are so removed from the "actual facts" as to be comedic, were it not so terribly serious.

Since the report submitted above is incorrect one can only conclude that either anyone on Norwegian soil is classified as a Norwegian or European for the purposes of violent crime reporting (a technique employed elsewhere), or they are flat out lying. The sheer numbers are such that linguistics and category reporting requirements (don't mention ethnicity, background, originating country, etc) for violent crime no longer mask the failure of the utopian multiculturalism dream.

There is a considerable political and capital investment in the social engineering of multiculturalism for aplogists to concede failure. Instead, they are doubling down. A perfect example is Merkel's 2010 statement that "multiculturalism utterly failed in Germany" and her 180 degree pivot to now championing the very policies she said were a failure. This video must be watched to understand the political doubling-down that is taking place in Europe. In light of the profound betrayal upon the European people the remarks of Sarkozy are worth listening to as they echo Merkel, and illustrate that European leaders are intentionally debasing their culture and posterity.

Abbott seems to have ruffled many feathers but on this point he is self evidently correct. Nothing less than the total dissolution of Europe will result in this cultural suicide. While many readers cannot get the the attached link below there is a very useful gif animation showing in particles and waves of light the massive- overwhelming- influx of people entering Europe and the countries of origin. The animation alone is worth seeing, with each point of light representing at least 25 people. This picture-is-worth-a-thousand-words gif debunks the myth of war refugees, soundly. Europe may survive in some form, but within our lifetimes Europe cannot continue to exist as we have known it. There is no analogy in the historical record that suggests a promising outcome for Europe.

In reality the future of the whole world could go in many different directions. We all need to have some compassion and contribute to creating a civil world where all world citizens have safety and security and opportunity for choices in regard to work to feed their families.

Exactly right. There are too many extremists on all sides of the racial and religious spectrum. The majority of all people just want to live in peace without discrimination. Unfortunately the media fuels this extremism as there is no news in the ordinary everyday person..

Australia has a very good experience taking in refuges from Lebanon during their civil war.

Crime rates being growing ever since and jails always full of customers of the same origin
