I am about to do my retirement extension and I am living in a house owned by a company to which I happen to be the director... All docs are properly registered (company office, blue book, chanote etc.).

Now besides the usual documents, I do not have a rental contract at present, so how do I prove to immigration where I live? What documents do other people in the same situation (live in the house owned by their company) show to immigration for prove of residence?

Do you set up a rental agreement between your company and yourself? Would that rental contract then be signed twice by yourself of would it be signed by another juristic person within the company? I guess the same documents might later be requested for all 90d reports, correct?

Any input highly appreciated. I will do the extension in Jomtien, if that is of importance.

Cheers and happy day to all of you

Don't you have any utilities in your name ?

I have successfully used my 3B Internet bill, my TOT telephone bill, and my electric bill as proof of residence for Immigration

I own my condo, and my company owns my house so I never had a lease, nor have I needed one, the above listed "bins" have been enough

This reply is for the Pattaya/Jomtien office:

They used to accept a utility bill with one's name on it in these situations, but last year when I renewed that was no longer accepted. What they wanted to see was the chanote and the most recent years Corp. tax filing documents for the house. One of the pages lists me as the farang director or whatever of the corporation and that the corp owns the house. They just needed a copy of that page.

Just take your most recent tax package with you and they will fish out the document they need and have you make a copy of it. No need to rent the house to yourself asThailand has not fallen that far down the rabbit hole...yet.
