PHUKET: -- The public prosecutor tasked with bringing to court the developers of the Ace 1 Condominium project in Patong has revealed that he needs “at least one more month” before bringing the case to trial.

Kathu Police handed over their case evidence and documents to the Phuket Provincial Public Prosecutor’s Office on October 26, confidently stating that the case should be brought to the court “within two weeks”.

The case, overseen by Col Angkul Klaiklueng of the Royal Thai Police Consumer Protection Division in Bangkok, aims to bring a a slew of charges against the developer, The Nine Property (Patong) Co, including fraud, developing land without the required permits, failure to obtain a building permit, and contravention of the Consumer Protection Act.

....will the accused even be around.....

.....this long to have charges laid......then to bring it to trial................then to get their money back.......

....sounds like 'never' to me.......

Translation: The developer has not yet raised enough cash for the payoff and needs more time.

The poor chap in the front with the 'thumbs up' seems to be out of the loop. He seems to be a happy fellow.

I am sure the developer has already left Thailand He knows charges are coming

I doubt they will find him
